Prof. SUN Jing stated that based on the haze and usage conditions in Thailand, the team developed the air purification equipment adopting high-flux electrostatic agglomeration and catalytic technology which exhibits the advantages of large air volume, zero consumables, easy cleaning, and efficient degradation of O3 and VOCs. She hoped this donation will help improve the air quality in schools in Thailand and play an important role in application demonstrations. Dr. Nion Sirimongkonlertkun from the Rajamangala University of Technology, the contact person of the recipient “Blue School” project, introduced the serious haze pollution problem currently faced by Thai schools. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the donation of these air purification equipment supported by SICCAS and ANSO, and hoped that the donation would promote the implementation of the air purification technology and deepen further cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. JIA Bo expressed his congratulations on this donation ceremony. He indicated that with the support of ANSO, SICCAS, the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand (NSTDA), Chiang Mai University, and Saigon University jointly carried out the project of “Haze Control Technology and System Integration in Chiang Mai”, and the donated equipment is one of the important achievements of the project. He hoped that the equipment could provide new solutions and practical help for haze control in Thailand, and the results of this ANSO project could effectively serve to improve the ecological environment, enhance the well-being of the people in Thailand, and promote the common development of regional economies.
