Green development has become the defining feature of Belt and Road cooperation, and green transport cooperation constitutes a major area of it. The key task of green transport is to promote energy-saving and low-carbon means of transportation using new energy and clean energy, with the aim of helping the Belt and Road countries and regions to develop green transport. This fits in ANSO’s mission and strategic objectives very well. The training course is an essential part of the ANSO Collaborative Research Project titled “Research and Application of High-Efficiency, Low-Carbon and Smart Vehicles in Belt and Road Countries”, which provides international students from B&R countries with a deep understanding of the advanced automotive technology and the development of China’s automotive industry. What’s more, it can lay a foundation for promoting science and technology cooperation between China and the B&R countries in the automotive field.
