2023 Beijing International Environmental Technology Conference Was Held

The 2023 Beijing International Environmental Technology Conference was successfully held from October 21-23 and was hosted by the University of Science and Technology Beijing. The conference was supported by the ANSO Environmental Technology Industry Alliance, the German Society for Sustainable Biogas and Bioenergy Utilization, etc. More than 200 environmental experts and scholars from the United States, Austria, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Germany, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Singapore, and other domestic and foreign experts attended the meeting.

Focusing on the areas of environmental protection, carbon neutrality, and sustainable development, the conference aims to contribute to the realization of the UN SDGs. Professor Jinghua Cao Executive Director of the ANSO Secretariat, addressed the meeting. Cao said that China attaches significant importance to science and innovation in achieving green and sustainable development, and in addressing climate change challenges and has made significant contributions, truly demonstrating the responsibility of China as a global leader. In the field of environmental science, ANSO will promote the development, innovation, and capacity building of the community and future generations by supporting various international cooperation and development.
